Image Licensing
My archive covers wild and quiet places across the Dolomites, Iceland, the Swiss Alps, the Netherlands and Mauritius — delivered at print quality, up to 8K resolution.*
If you'd like to use one of my images, email me at sagar@sagavortex.art with the image, where it will appear, and for how long. I answer every enquiry myself, usually within a day or two.
What a licence includes
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, a standard licence is:
- Non-exclusive — exclusive licences are available on request, priced separately
- Worldwide
- 2 years from first use, renewable
- For the specific use we agree — a licence for one placement doesn't extend to others
Rates
The figures below are starting points for standard usage. Final rates depend on prominence, audience size, territory and duration — high-visibility placements are quoted individually.

Editorial use
News, magazine articles, books and educational publishing are priced below the commercial rates above — typically around half, depending on circulation. Just tell me what it's for.
Charities and non-profits
I reduce my rates for causes I believe in, case by case. Tell me about the project.
Credit
Please credit © SagaVortex Art Photography wherever it's reasonably possible — it costs nothing and means a great deal at this stage of my work.
Where no credit is given, the licence fee is increased by 100%.
What isn't included
- Training AI or machine-learning systems. My images may not be used to train, fine-tune or develop generative models under any licence on this page. If that's your intended use, contact me — it's quoted separately.
- Reselling, sublicensing or transferring the licence to another party
- Use beyond the agreed placement, territory or period
- Alterations that materially change the work, without my written approval
- Copyright — this always remains mine
How it works
- Email me with the image, the intended use, the territory and the duration.
- I send a quote and a written licence covering exactly that use.
- On agreement, I invoice you — payment within 14 days, per the DuPho terms.
- I deliver the high-resolution files, up to 8K where available.

Terms
All licences are granted under the General Terms and Conditions of DuPho (Dutch Photographers), which you can read here. Among other things, these govern usage, payment and the consequences of unauthorised use — for which DuPho's terms entitle me to compensation substantially above the standard licence fee.
All rates are exclusive of VAT (BTW) where applicable, and quoted in euros.
* Availability and maximum resolution vary by image. All licences are subject to availability.
